Analysis paralysis can get the better of us when we’re evaluating alternative choices. If you seem to be stuck in indecision, perhaps it’s because you don’t really understand the decision you’re trying to make.
You may not have a goal in mind. Or if you have a goal in mind you may not feel confident in what makes it worthwhile. Making a decision without this perspective can be daunting.
Step back and understand what matters. If you know what you’re trying to accomplish and what makes it worthwhile you can eliminate options that wouldn’t get you where you need to go. As for the remaining options, if you’re know what’s worthwhile then you know you’re doing the right thing and if you’re doing the right thing how can you possibly go wrong? Pick the option that feels right and run with it.
